2023 is here, and we're making it bigger than ever
Events at MAO are like nowhere else - every weekend event features off-road adventure, family-friendly activities, entertainment, contests and more for all to enjoy. Event guests enjoy the park's premium amenities, from climate-controlled bathhouses, restaurant, bars, and more. We are finalizing plans for 2023 through the off-season - see the calendar for events at the park and nearby here. Check out each event link below for more details and ticket release dates related to each.
MARCH 9th-12th
The MAO team heads to the South Grand Lake Recreation Area, Disney/Langley, Oklahoma for the 2023 Big Meat Run. This long-standing rock climbing palooza was originally founded by John & Edie Sumner, and MAO is proud to carry the tradition forward, bringing additional shows and entertainment to the weekend.
MARCH 16th-19th
The first event at MAO this year kicks off our MAO Racing SXS Championship Series, as well as St. Patrick's Day festivities for all to enjoy.
APRIL 28th-30th
MAO Racing travels to Lucas Oil Speedway for Round 2 of the 2023 SXS Championship Series, as well as the debut of our Truck Championship Series.
Camping & ticket arrangements for racers and spectators are not yet available - we'll post more details as soon as we have them!
MAY 25th-29th
After a trip to Wheatland, the MAO Racing SXS Championship Series & Truck Championship Series are back home at MAO. Memorial Day Weekend kicks off the Pit Bike Championship Series, and other festivities include an organized night ride through the park, pool parties, a game triathlon, barbie jeep races and more!

JUNE 14TH-18TH: Visions Off-Road
Visions 2023 is going to be the biggest one yet! Plan a summer vacation your family will never forget and enjoy 5 days of non-stop action and entertainment for all. More details will be out about the Visions schedule soon!
July 20th-23rd
Round 5 for the SXS Championship Series is in the heat of summer, and we're going to enjoy it! This event will feature Barbie Jeep Races, a night ride, pool parties and more fun and entertainment for the whole family. The short course series will be heating up in points battles, so be sure to catch the action! This event will also feature the finals races for both the Truck & Pit Bike Championship Series.
September 8th-10th
Lifted Truck Nationals returns to MAO for the second year, bringing lots of show and plenty of exciting activities for all to enjoy.
September 22nd-24th
The September event gets an extra hit of excitement, as we welcome the Championship Off-Road series for a round of action-packed racing on the short course.
October 19th-22nd
Finals weekend is an event you don't want to miss: the short course series is wrapping up for the year, and the National Rock Racing Association is here for their finals as well. Rock bouncers & UTVs will race hill climbs providing action like you've never seen before!
Located in Northeast Oklahoma, MidAmerica Outdoors is a premiere riding & racing park spanning over 1,600 acres and featuring a wide variety of spectator-friendly race areas and exciting terrain for trail riding.
